Nintendo Switch(Amazon Link Here)

As of “As of June 30, 2019, Nintendo has sold nearly 38 million Switch consoles worldwide as reported by TechCrunch meaning it’s one of Nintendos most successful consoles. The ability to get both a handheld gaming experience and console experience in one device is fantastic and a stroke of genius by Nintendo.

Simply put,t get this Switch if you want the ability to “switch” your console between docked and undock and love the flexibility that will give you.

Nintendo Switch Lite

Do you want a strictly handheld device that feels truly modern and next-gen? Then the Nintendo Switch Lite is where you should go. You will make some tradeoffs like quieter speakers, of course, the inability to play on your television and a smaller screen, but if you think you will find yourself exclusively playing your Switch in portable mode or travel a lot it is the best option for you.

The battery life is also optimised the console just looks sexier, feels more comfortable and light in your hands and is perfect for long gaming sessions. Also, you don’t have joycons so there are reduced hardware issues and everything is just one full device. The best thing is it’s around $100 cheaper than the Switch and a vast improvement if you play the switch in handheld mode. Really it is fantastic buy but know you can never play on your television which is part of what made the original Switch so good in the first place.

These Are The Best 5 Nintendo Switch Accessories Right Now

1.Nintendo Pro Controller (Amazon Link)

Yes, it is expensive but you get what you pay for with its fantastic design, excellent grip feel & lengthy 40-hour battery life and everything working out exactly as it should. The controller just seems premium and I’ve had mine for a while and it feels like it will last a long time like a GameCube controller. The Bluetooth works from far and connects to the switch without effort. Unfortunately, it does not include a headphone or headset hack so bare that in mind.

I understand it is pricey but it is worth it as the joy-cons whilst decent are just not optimal to play games such as Super Smash Bros or shooters you just need something more traditional. The Pro controller is one of the best controllers I’ve ever had and can also be used for PC it makes the PS4 Dualshock 4 look cheap in comparison.

2.PowerA Everywhere Messenger Bag(Amazon Link)

Power A speaks quality as the company is one of the biggest accessories manufactures in gaming, with products for the Xbox, Playstation, Switch and PC. With the Everywhere Messenger bag, you can carry everything from your Switch’s controllers to the charging/video dock all on your shoulder in one bag.

Complete with custom skin editions for Black Of The Wild or Super Mario Bros and a small hard zip case for the Switch itself really you are getting 2 cases for the price of one. Considering your Switch is worth a lot paying a bit more for its protection simply makes sense and this good quality bag will protect your Switch & accessories for a very long time.

3.SanDisk Ultra 200 GB microSDXC Memory Card(Amazon Link)

The Nintendo Switch only has 32GB of storage which will be deleted very rapidly as Breath Of The Wild takes up 40& of the storage capacity itself! The SanDisk ultra has performance up to 100MB/s so you won’t have to worthy about lengthy load times.

It really depends on how much memory you need but the more memory you buy works out to be better value and you can always use it for your computer or Camera if you buy a bigger memory card. Sandisk is a well -known brand and a memory card is a no-nonsense Switch accessory that you simply need if you want to play more than a few games for your Switch.

4.Nintendo Switch Screen Protector(Amazon Link)

You likely protect your Smartphone screen but why not do the same with your Nintendo Switch? Although the screen is relatively sturdy there is always the chance of screen damage occurring but this will never happen with the amFilm tempered screen protector.

It is cheap but extremely effective and good value for money and you can still see your Switches screen in all its glory but have it protected at the same time. Docking your Switch without a protector has been known to damage the screen over time, as you repeatedly dock and undock the Switch but a protector solves this issue,

5.Antank Portable Charger(Amazon Link)

One issue with the Switch has always been its weak battery life but the Antank portable Switch battery case basically doubles yours on-screen playing time without adding much weight at all to your Switch! This effectively makes it a truly portable device as Nintendo said “for the updated model of the Nintendo Switch console, the battery life is approximately 4.5 to 9 hours” making you charge with this charger around 9 to 18 hours on a single charge!

It balances the perfect dance of improved battery life and portability whilst improving durability that will protect your Switch that much more.

5 Of The Best Nintendo Switch Games

In the console war of this generation, Xbox definitely was the loser but the battle between Playstation 4 and the Nintendo Switch has been hard-fought. Nintendo Switch hasn’t been out as long but it has with it not only some of the best games this generation but some of the best games ever made.

This will be my opinion the best 5 Nintendo Switch games which in any order. Choosing 5 was tough simply due to Nintendos massive library of exclusives that make the company so special.

1.Zelda Breath Of The World (Amazon Link)

One of if not the best game in one of the most influential series in gaming history Breath Of The Wild simply put is a masterpiece. It was ambitious of Nintendo to step their toes into the open-world genre but BOTW is a masterstroke in intelligent game design with a large open world coupled with fantastic combat together with gorgeous graphics and much much more.

This game alone carried the Nintendo Switch in its launch for months and is reason ENOUGH to buy a Switch just to play this game. As gorgeous docked as handheld BOTW is really a sight to believe.

2.Super Smash Bros Ultimate (Amazon Link)

Super smash bros has been around since 1999 and is one of the best fighting game genres of all time. The latest edition has 75 characters and every character from the entire series is included. This time, the action is faster paced and less reliant on blocking. The game runs gorgeous and is a must for any Switch owner.

When living in China I bought a Switch just for this game and I don’t regret it. The Switch’s game library had improved significantly before Ultimate was released. The game has sold around 15 mil copies and is one of the Switches most important titles, and just added another fantastic game to its a library. Buy it if you want to see Mario vs Joker from persona, trust me you won’t regret it.

3.Super Mario Odessy (Amazon Link)

Super Mario Odyssey is the latest fresh version of one of gamings most memorable and successful franchises. Instead of eating mushrooms Mario has a magic hat that grants him new powers and abilities.

The world is simply a massive tribute to Mario fans filled with fantastic musical numbers and inventive challenging worlds absolutely full of collectables that can be very hard to find. The game also acknowledges the series 2D platforming routes. It is fantastic from start to finish and you’re doing yourself a disfavour by not having it in your Switches collection.

4.Fire Emblem: Three Houses(Amazon Link)

Fire Emblem: Three Houses has roughly 200+ hours of gameplay if you want to see the entire story, as the story revolves around you a teacher who must choose between one of three different houses which stories vary considerably and after completing the lengthy 70-hour story you’ll be itching for more.

The Switch’s power is truly tested with pretty 3D battle environments on display, fantastic character designs and interior building are fully realised such as the school’s campus. The characters are all unique and develop as the story progresses and the voice acting puts another level of immersion that is often missing within a Nintendo title. If you’re a fan of RPGs this is simply a must-buy for your Switch.

5.Splatoon 2 (Amazon Link)

Splatoon 2 is the perfect sequel as it improves on the Wii U’s squad-based shooter in every way with more weapons, more maps, different Inklings to use and even a separate single-player campaign with a new revamped training mode. Unlike typical Nintendo, the multiplayer is both accessible easy to start with and challenging which is no mean feat.

The gameplay is simply unique with the ability to morph into a squid form and transverse through the Ink complete invulnerable. The whole multiplayer is about controlling the map with your own ink as you can only use your colour ink. The game is heavily supported by Nintendo with regular updates to the game giving new material to get the test out. If you want a unique third-person multiplayer shooter that is extremely fun you need to get Splatoon 2.
